Knoxville’s Bill Jones Music installed 17 brand new pianos at Maryville College’s $47-million Clayton Center for the Arts on January 18, 2010. The new instruments will be played in performances and throughout recital halls, faculty studios, choral rooms, instrument studios, and practice studios. In addition to the Yamaha pianos purchased by Maryville College Bill Jones Music loaned an additional five pianos at no charge to the school.

Dr. William Swann, Associate Professor of Music at Maryville College expressed his gratefulness that the college has these new instruments. “I’m happy that Maryville College has been able to work with Bill Jones Music to procure beautiful new Yamaha pianos to offer our students in our amazing new facility, Clayton Center for the Arts. Not only will our current students benefit, but these beautiful instruments will go a long way in bringing new art and music students to the college as well.”
